Delivery and Pricing

UK POSTAGE

All of our products are carefully packaged using recyclable and biodegradable packaging. Our standard delivery charge is £2.50 on all goods over £20 and these orders are sent via Royal Mail First Class Signed For Service. Orders under £20 are sent via Royal Mail First Class at at cost of £1.50.

We always obtain a proof of posting certificate on orders over £20 so we are able to raise a claim with the delivery service should the item become lost in the post.

Postage rates are calculated automatically in the shopping cart. Orders over £50 are eligible for free delivery.

EU POSTAGE

We are now shipping to all EU member states, choose your country at the checkout and postage will be calculated for you. Orders up to the value of £41.00 will be sent via airmail small packet service at a cost of £8.99. Order over £41.00 in value are sent via Airsure, a tracked and insured service at a cost of £21.99.

 

Dispatch Times

We aim to dispatch all our orders on the either the same day or the next working day after receipt of payment.  All our goods are sent first class so should  take around 1-3 working days to arrive for UK orders (please allow up to 14 days for overseas postage). Please get in touch with us if your order is later than the expected arrival time and we can chase it up for you. You can track your order on our website.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to get your order to you we will contact you within 24hrs to advise you and if required offer a full refund.

 

NB: Please note that as Bespoke items are made to order dispatch times will vary, in these cases delivery estimates will be provided on an individual basis, however on average one should allow up to 6 -8 weeks for a bespoke item. All bespoke items are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

 

Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

Gothic Designs offers a Safe Postage Guarantee - any items lost or damaged will be replaced or refunded as soon as possible and no later than 14 working days after dispatch date. (28 days for overseas orders)

If your purchase has been damaged:

If you receive your order and it has been damaged in transit please contact us as soon as possible to advise us of the situation. You can then choose whether you would like a refund or replacement*. We may ask you to sign a statement  with regards to the damaged items so we are then able to raise a claim with the delivery service used, however this will not delay the swift replacement/refund of your goods.

If your item has been lost:

If you have not received your item within 14 working days (28 days for overseas orders) after the dispatch date we will send a replacement*. As we always obtain a proof of posting certificate we are able to raise a claim with the post office should you order not arrive therefore we would be grateful if you could provide a written statement to that effect . Please let us know if your missing item does turn up before then and we can arrange for it to be returned to us at no cost to yourself.

In cases of loss or damage to items Gothic Designs will endeavour to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.

* Please note some of our goods are one off items so if we are unable to provide a replacement we will offer you a refund.

 

Returns


We hope that you will be pleased with you purchase from Gothic Designs, however for your complete peace of mind, we offer a 14 day money back guarantee.

In the unlikely event you should wish to return your purchase please follow the guidelines below.

1. Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to inform us you would like to return the item. We will NOT refund any items returned without prior notification. **

2. Orders must be returned to Gothic Designs along with a completed returns form which is provided with each order, within 7 days (14 days for overseas orders) of notifying us of your intention to return your order.

3. If you have not returned the goods within 7 days of notifying (14 days for overseas orders) us we WILL NOT be able to accept them.

4. As you will be responsible for the safe return of goods we would advise that you use a delivery service with tracking and insurance as well as obtaining a proof of posting from your post office.  Return postage costs will not be refunded

5. We politely request that you return your purchases in their original condition (with box) and unworn/unused.  Once we have received the Item a full refund will be issued.

6. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if a request is made after 14 days of receipt or if the Item has been tarnished/damaged in any way. 

7. Due to hygiene reasons earrings and lace/material collars are excluded from our Return Policy.

 

PLEASE NOTE: BESPOKE/ PERSONALISED ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED UNLESS THEY ARE FAULTY, IN WHICH CASE A FULL REFUND OR REPLACEMENT WILL BE OFFERED*.

*Due to the unique nature of some of the designs, it may not be possible to offer exactly the same piece as some materials can become limited.

** If you are returning an order because you have changed your mind you will be required to return any non edible free gifts you received with that order. If you are returning an order due to faulty or damaged goods please accept this gift with our apologies.
